Sanctuary is a new music venue located in downtown Maynard, bringing new life to an historic landmark. The space is located in a totally renovated 165-year-old church, complete with high ceilings, stained glass windows, and enormous wooden dance floor.. With a full lounge and stage with theatrical and nightclub lighting, Sanctuary provides an experience unique to the area. A full-service restaurant will be opening early next year. Until then, Sanctuary has made arrangements with several local restaurant partners to service Fugitive events by delivering meals directly to the venue.
